Founded by myself in 2014, Polyester is one of London's leading, independently published, feminist identity and culture publications.
Published biannually, the print addition runs alongside a regularly updated online platform and the bi-weekly Polyester Podcast — as well as hosting semi-regular events such as curated exhibitions, panels, and launch parties.
Currently on its eighth print issue, Polyester has featured work by, and profiled, some of the leading voices in contemporary culture — including Tavi Gevinson, Cupcakke, Polly Nor, Sateen Pussy Riot, Cherry Glazerr, Anna Biller, and more.
Polyester works with some of the most exciting voices across journalism, illustration, music and photography — counting Chloe Sheppard, Maisie Cousins, Dream Wife, Arvida Bystrom, Hobbes Ginsberg, Scarlett Carlos Clarke, Parker Day — and many others — as contributors.
We've also worked with brands such as Melissa Shoes, Collusion, Converse, Nike, Lovebox Festival, Tate Modern and The BFI on commercial sponsorships, partnerships, events, and collaborations.
Selected press for the publication includes: i-D, Dazed, The Guardian, Style Bubble, Huck, Broadly, Refinery29, Bustle, British Vogue, NYLON.
